The Opportunity:

Position Summary

Cayuga Milk Ingredients is seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Director to lead and manage our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Auburn, NY. This role is a unique opportunity to drive the success of a cutting-edge plant from its inception. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, responsibilities include:

• Leadership & Management: Oversee the entire Auburn plant, ensuring alignment with Cayuga Milk Ingredients' goals and objectives.
• Accountability: Ensure safety, environmental, quality, production, efficiency, service levels, and people objectives are met. Deliver results to financial plan.
• Development: Inspire, direct, coach, and provide feedback to the plant leadership team to meet business and strategic goals.
• Management: Coordinate and administer day-to-day operational activities, developing and implementing internal protocols, policies, and procedures in line with company standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the project team during installation, commissioning, and start-up phases, serving as the overall site leader from start-up onwards.
• other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Technology/Manufacturing or Dairy Science required.
• 10+ years of operational/manufacturing management experience required.
• Dairy manufacturing experienced preferred, will consider beverage/brewing, food production or pharmaceutical production experience.
• Aseptic processing experience highly valued.
• leader with a keen interest in advancement opportunities.

Compensation:

At Cayuga Milk Ingredients, we value a fair and comprehensive approach to compensation. Our wage range for this role is determined by various factors, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. It is not typical for an employee to start at or near the top of the range for the position. Compensation decisions are made based on individual job circ*mstances considering skill level, previous experience, and education requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $118,000 to $197,000 annually. We offer full benefits including medical/dental/vision, HSA contribution, PTO, paid holidays, and 401k.
