Masa Israel works to make it as easy as possible for Jewish young adults to come to Israel. We offer grants and/or scholarships to help make the experience more affordable.

Masa Grants. Destination Israel's long-term Israel programs are recognized as Masa Israel programs by Masa Israel Journey. Masa Israel provides financial support and other resources to participants on Masa Israel programs - defined as long-term programs in Israel.

Masa brings young Jews worldwide to participate in life-changing experiences in Israel, creating a network of friends worldwide. Masa's role is to help you strive towards your destination with personalized, long-term plans that help Gap Fellows choose their path while ensuring the success of their journey.

Universal grants are available to North American participants, regardless of financial need, as follows: US$3,000 grant for ages 22+ US$1,250 grant for ages 19-21. US$500 grant for ages 18.

What is the cost of Masa Israel Teaching Fellows? Fellows are responsible to pay $1,200 for the full 10-month experience. Certified teachers will earn a monthly compensation of 3,000 NIS (about $980 USD) and will, after initial training, co-teach in the English classroom.

To be eligible for a Massachusetts Cash Grant, a student must: Be a permanent legal resident of Massachusetts for one year prior to the start of the academic year for which the grant is awarded. Be a U.S. Citizen or non-citizen eligible under Title IV regulations. Be in compliance with Selective Service Registration.

MASA MTS is a membership organization that provides worldwide air and ground ambulance transportation services for members when they are at home, at work or traveling the world. The following services are covered with a MASA membership: Emergency Air Medical Transportation and Evacuation.

A Gift of Israel is a seven-year student savings and matching funds program that encourages families to save for a student's future educational trip to Israel.

Under the program, the government sets aside a grant of NIS 57 ($15) per month for every child. At age 18, a further NIS 500 ($133) grant is deposited and the amount accrued becomes available for withdrawal. If the young adult waits until age 21 to access the funds, the government adds a further NIS 500.

About the Israel Journey Program

The journey allows soldiers to discover their roots, reflect upon the connections between themselves and society, and strengthen their understanding of Jewish traditions.

Since 1992, the Taco Bell Foundation has reached more than 5 million young people across the country and has awarded more than $130 million in grants and scholarships, focused on education and career readiness.

Half of Masa Israel's funding comes from the Government of Israel and the other half comes from the Jewish Agency for Israel, which is supported by the Jewish Federations of North America and Keren Hayesod-UIA.

Wage levels in Israel depend on factors such as region, profession, qualification level, and experience. As of 2021, the average monthly salary ranges from 11,000 to 13,000 shekels ($3,200 to $3,700 USD).

The MASSGrant serves 49,540 students and provides a maximum award of $1,600, but the median award is only $600.

The state of Mississippi provides about $40 million each year to help students go to college. The state offers three undergraduate grant programs: HELP, which awards full tuition for students with financial need; MTAG, which awards $500 per year to freshmen and sophom*ores and $1,000 per year to juniors and seniors; and.

The California Promise Grant covers tuition at dozens of California community colleges. That means tuition-free college if you're eligible. Instead of paying $46 per credit, you'll pay nothing in tuition. If you take 30 credits in a year, you'll save $1,380.

Each year, the Grant awards up to $1,500 each to Michigan residents who are attending in-state public or non-profit universities and who have received a minimum 1200 SAT score. To be considered for the scholarship, interested students must simply complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by May 1st.
