New Feature:
Mastery System

We'll be releasing theUnit Mastery systemin a June update. Now, let's delve deeper into what Mastery brings, how to unlock it and how it becomes available.

What is Mastery?

Unit Mastery is a brand-new Unit growth system. A Unit's Mastery gradually unlocks as you level it up, enabling you to increase its attributes and alter its skills or mechanics. This system will bring new possibilities for all Units. Who knows, maybe Silver Era Units with high Mastery might even be able to stand their own against Units of the Heroic Era!

Unlocking Mastery

First, if you select a Unit you've unlocked for which Mastery is available, you'll be met with a menu like this.

A Unit's Mastery unlocks in stages based on its level. The items you need to unlock Mastery can be found daily in specific PVE content and the Honor Shop (we'll describe this feature in greater detail at a later time). There are daily and monthly caps in place for each of the two acquisition methods. By completing this PVE content daily, you'll be able to unlock Mastery for up to three Units a month based on the level of that Unit. Choose to train your favourite Units further and empower them so that currently underperforming Units can stand on their own in battle.

How Mastery Becomes Available

Initially, Mastery will be available for 2-Star, 3-Star, and 4-Star Units, and we'll be adding Mastery for around five Units each month. We'll most likely spread Mastery evenly among the three Unit tiers. We'll be announcing which Units will be the first to get Mastery in a few days!

What's more, to reduce the attribute difference between older Units and newer and Seasonal Units, we'll be raising the level cap of 2-Star and 3-Star Units in the Unit Tree and Season Challenges to level 18, and that of 4-Star Units to level 24.

First Units to Receive Mastery

Mastery for the first batch of Units will become available at the start of the Season. Simply complete the related quests from the Warden to unlock this new feature.

Seasonal Units

Ronin (3-Star)

Slice up your opponents with the sword-wielding Ronin, and deal high damage in short bursts.

These masterless martial arts masters excel at launching sudden and highly lethal attacks. They call themselves the Ronin and wander the land, protecting the people from tyranny and evil. While their garb may indicate simplicity, their skills are unmatched.

The Ronin’s Parry Trait gives them a slightly increased attack each time an enemy attack is successfully blocked. Order this Unit to Charge at foes, and inflict extra damage with a Iaido Strike.

Onna-musha (4.5-Star)

Trained arduously from a young age, the Onna-musha wield their blades with deadly precision. While it is not unusual for young women of the nobility to learn the use of weapons, the ongoing baronial war means they are often called on to put this knowledge to practical use.

The Onna-musha possess the Anti-Cavalry Trait, meaning their attacks have cavalry-blocking effects, and deal 26% more damage, as well as slowing them by 60% for a short period of time.

Order these fearsome females to Charge, and release multiple attacks with their Onslaught.

Patches

Keep apprised of the key changes throughout the season at: https://conqblade.com/en/sengoku-patch-notes

ADJUSTED CONTENT:

HONOUR STORE

Last week we introduced the Honour Store which featured the Mace Sergeants. This week we are adding the Mace Sergeant Scrolls of Mastery.

  • [Uncommon Scroll of Mastery: Mace Power] - 200 Honour (Purchase Limit: 120)
  • [Rare Scroll of Mastery: Mace Power] - 1,000 Honour (Purchase Limit: 20)

NEW REGIONAL CAPITAL AGENTS

Added Agents to Conqueror's City, Anliang and Augolia, enabling you to quickly reach the capitals of other regions.

SYSTEM ADJUSTMENTS

  • We're lowering the level required to use [Treatises] and [Ancient Treatises] to 40.
  • Seasonal content is now available at level 24 (was 40).
  • Rune System is now available at level 25 (was 50).
  • Adjusted the quest requirement of [Honour Trial] to kill 60 enemy soldiers.

NEW PLAYER TUTORIAL

We've updated the tutorial, meaning that players who join after the launch of the Sengoku season get to experience different tutorials.

New Players (Sengoku Season):

  • Characters created after the Sengoku Season launch will no longer have access to [Hero’s Journey] (F4).
  • Instead, you will be able to complete new main and side quests (including new tutorial PVE levels).
  • You will be able to access the new [Progress Pass], which includes Login Rewards, Drillmaster's Trials and Drillmaster's Rewards.
    • By logging in each day, you will be able to earn all Login Rewards.
    • Complete the Drillmaster’s Trials quests and you will gain progress on the Drillmaster's Rewards tracks, granting you loads of useful items.
  • Newly created characters will no longer get to choose a unit from the tutorial, but instead will unlock the Mace Sergeants by completing the new main quests. Both veteran and new players will in effect unlock the same number of units of identical rarity throughout the new and old tutorials.

Unification Changes:

  • We are removing the War ScholarQuest granting a 4-Star unit with the Sengoku Season.
  • We have removed the previous “tutorial” sign-in event.

Veteran Players:

Nothing will change in terms of the tutorial for characters created before the Sengoku Season. You will still have access to the [Hero’s Journey] (F4).

You will be able to purchase the 3-Star Mace Sergeants from the Honour Store.
