13th which was parked in front of his home. The impact pushed Williams' car 30 feet. A witness saw a gray or silver vehicle leaving the scene. Damage to William's car was estimated at $1,000 to $2,500. Four people were arrested Monday night when police discovered an indoor marijuana growing operation.

Vincennes Police Chief Dennis Holt said Patrolman Rose Cook had been told of the operation and the department obtained a warrant to search 1323 Hart St. Local police plus a few members of the White River Valley Drug Task Force served the warrant there and discovered 72 marijuana plants and several "growing lights" in the basem*nt, plus a few "hits" of LSD in blotter paper. Holt said. Police charged the occupants of the home, Brian A. Rodgers, 19, and Chris M.

Rodgers, 20, with cultivating marijuana, possession of a schedule I controlled substance and maintaining a common nuisance. Each was released on $4,500 bond. Also charged with visiting a common nuisance were Brian L. Roberts, 21, 603 Upper 11th and a 15-year-old juvenile. Roberts was released on $500 bond.

The juvenile was released to his parents' custody. Roberts and the Rodgers are all to appear April 25 in Knox County Superior Court II. Other arrests Police arrested David L. Marsh, 39, Bicknell, and Amy D. Masters, 20, Francisco, under Superior Court Township High School and in 1924 she graduated from Lockyear Business College in Evansville.

Slawson worked for the Ohio Oil Company from 1924-27 and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Robinson. Surviving are a daughter, Jean Dunn of Robinson; a sister, Mary Hill of Homestead, three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Her husband, Arthur E. "Esco" Slawson, whom she married Oct.

28, 1928, died in 1971. A brother is also deceased. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Pulliam Funeral Home, the Rev. T.R.

Akers officiating. Burial will be in Robinson New Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Crawford County Convalescent Center Activity Fund, through the funeral home.

Charles Eugene Stephenson LUTZ, Fla. Charles Eugene Stephenson, 76, Lutz, died Monday as the result of an auto accident. He was born April 28, 1919, the son of Charles L. and Ruby A. (Walker) Stephenson.

In 1937 he graduated from Freelandville High School and was a retired air traffic controller. Stephenson was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Nazarene church. Surviving are three daughters; three sisters, including Gladys Brocksmith of Freelandville and Lucille Baker of Vincennes; four brothers; and several grandchildren. His wife died in 1988. Arrangements are pending.

Harold N. Clinkenbeard FORT WAYNE Harold N. Clinkenbeard, 67, Fort Wayne, died March 29 at Parkview Memorial Hospital. Born in Freelandville, he lived in Fort Wayne for 35 years. Clinkenbeard was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and a high school teacher for Fort Wayne Community Schools from 1959-73.

From 1973-90 he was a field supervisor for the State Department of Public Instruction. He retired in 1990. Surviving are his wife, Willodean Clinkenbeard; four daughters, Pamela Clinkenbeard of Hamden, Cheri and Cindi Clinkenbeard of Fort Wayne, and Tami Clinkenbeard of New York City; three brothers, Lloyd Clinkenbeard of Santa Anna, Mert Clinkenbeard of Highland and Joe Clinkenbeard of Valparaiso; a sister, Bea Rodgers of Garden Grove, and his stepmother, Catherine Clinkenbeard of Richmond. The service was at 10 a.m. April 1 at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Richmond.

He was born June 22, 1956, in Vincennes the son of Joseph and Billie (O'Brien) Halter.

He graduated from Lincoln High School and Vincennes University and was a tool and die maker for Johnson Controls, Inc. Surviving are his fiance, Shannon Hardesty of Vincennes; his mother and adoptive father, Dennis Booher of Vincennes; two sisters, Rebecca Page of Bicknell and Mary Todd of Oakland City; and two brothers, Eric Booher of Carlisle and David Booher of Lawrenceville. Dorothy M. Morley BICKNELL Dorothy M. Morley, 82, Bruceville, died Monday at her son's home in Vincennes. Born Nov. 17, 1912, in Bruceville, she was the daughter of Nathaniel and Mary Ellen (Townsley) Clark.

Morley was a lifelong resident of Bruceville and a member of the Bruceville United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the True Blue Sunday School class. Surviving are her son, James Q. and John W. Morley of Evansville, Floyd E. Morley of Vincennes, and Joe A.

and Charles L. Morley of San Diego, two daughters, Wanda J. Schutter of Howe, Texas and Sarah F. Morley of Bruceville; a sister, Mabel Viehe; 10 grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She married Warren Morley on Jan.

Wanda L. Murray BRIDGEPORT, 111. Wanda L. Murray, 57, Bridgeport, died at 12:10 p.m. Monday at St.

Mary's Hospital in Evansville. She was born Oct. 13, 1937, in Lawrenceville, the daughter of Roy and Violet (Farlow) Corrie. Murray worked at the Senior Citizen Center in Lawrenceville and attended the Wesleyan Church in Bridgeport. Surviving are two daughter, Lesley Vantlin of Bridgeport, Robin Murray of Fort Branch, five sons, Wayne Murray Jr.

of Keensburg, Eric Murray of Salem, and Roy, Stewart and Robert Murray of Bridgeport; a sister, Mary James of Bridgeport; a brother, Albert Corrie of Olney; and 14 granchildren. Monday at Crawford Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born July 15, 1904, in Rudolph, Ohio, she was the daughter of Carl and Lola (Conn) Christenson. In 1922 she graduated from Robinson into Isaacs. Total damage exceeded $500. No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 10:40 p.m.

The charges filed Monday are in connection with six bombs exploded in Wolcottville between March 28 and April 4. H. Hugh Hunt, 79, Mayfield, died at 6:40 a.m. Saturday at his home. He was born April 22, 1915, in Mayfield, the daughter of Dr. Herbert Hobson and Maie (Wilford) Hunt.

He was an military policeman in the Army during World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater. Hunt was civil enginner who was project engineer for the first tri-level bridge in Indiana and, for 20 years, he worked for the departments of transportation in Kentucky and Indiana. Hunt also worked for the private engineering firms of Scieco and Michael Baker, in Florida and Tennessee. Hunt was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Sigma Nu at the University of Kentucky. Surviving are his wife, Lillian Hunt; five daughters, Anne Powers and Claudia Earles, both of Mayfield, Mary Jarrett of Martinsville, Marilyn Rivers of Alachua, and Helen DEXTER, Mo.
